Fertility Match
Fertility Match is a technology platform that helps people with frozen embryos securely connect with intended parents seeking to grow their families.
Problem & solution
More than 1 million embryos are frozen in the U.S., yet families who want to donate them and intended parents who need them face a fragmented, manual, and difficult-to-navigate process. Fertility Match creates a trusted technology platform for embryo donation, combining secure profiles, education, verification, and matching tools to help families find the right match while integrating with fertility clinics and existing medical care.
Primary customers & users
Primary customers are fertility clinics and health systems, with decisions led by REIs (fertility doctors), clinic owners, medical directors, and operations leaders. Users include intended parents seeking embryos and people with remaining frozen embryos who want to donate them.
Differentiation
Unlike agencies, clinic-by-clinic programs, or informal matching, Fertility Match creates one scalable, tech-enabled marketplace for embryo donation. Built by a fertility nonprofit leader and mom through embryo donation, it combines secure matching, education, verification, clinic integration, and proven traction: 96 matches and 9 babies.
Current traction
Fertility Match builds on a real-world embryo matching pilot launched through the Jewish Fertility Foundation, which has facilitated 96 matches and resulted in 9 babies born to date. The company is now translating that validated, high-touch model into a scalable technology platform and beginning conversations with fertility clinics and REIs about partnerships, workflow integration, and future deployment.
How Summit participants can help
Most valuable would be introductions to early-stage healthcare investors, strategic partners, health-tech operators, and advisors with expertise in marketplaces, reproductive health, legal/regulatory strategy, and scaling healthcare technology. We’re also seeking opportunities to pressure-test the model and accelerate commercialization.
